This year the children in St.Louis are participating in the ‘Blue Star Programme’. The ‘Blue Star programme’ aims to foster a better understanding and knowledge of the European Union (EU) among primary pupils via classroom projects and activities. Children are introduced to the EU, what it means and how it works.
The children have been very busy learning about different countries within the EU. The entire school have already learned lots about Finland, France, Italy and Ireland. We hope to fit in more countries in the coming months in preparation for ‘European Day’ in May.
The children have also been busy developing their European class projects. Samples of work will be included in this blog as they are completed.
We hope you enjoy looking at all of our hard work!
