Friendship Week 2024

Last week was our first week of 2024 and it was Friendship Week! What a week it was!  The children learned a lot about friendship and kindness.  They made friendship bracelets for each other, they made posters, did collaborative art, they filled jars with acts of kindness, they played, they danced, they sang and they were amazing friends to everyone! At the end of the week, we raised our Cineáltas flag. Cineáltas is the Irish word for kindness. The flag acknowledges the good work that schools are already doing and will do to prevent and address bullying.  It is also a symbol of kindness, respect, inclusion, diversity and wellbeing.
