Curriculum

St Louis Primary School teaches all subjects in the Primary School Curriculum from Junior Infants to Sixth Class.  The Primary School Curriculum outlines what children learn in each subject, the approaches and methodologies used and how children’s learning progresses through the primary school.  Learn more about this on the Primary School Curriculum website.

In the Junior classes, child- centered learning is key in all curricular areas. The pedagogical approaches of the Aistear framework are adopted in our infant classes where our young pupils engage in play-based learning.  This meaningful play is open-ended and child led.
