School History
St Louis Infant School and St Louis Senior Primary School were founded in 1940.
They were originally schools for girls and became co-ed in 1984 when they amalgamated with Richmond Hill Boy’s School and Tranquilla Boy’s School.
In September 2023 St Louis Infant School and St Louis Senior Primary School amalgamated to become St Louis Primary School.
Cantairi Óga Átha Cliath was founded in St Louis Primary School in 1961 by Proinsias O Ceallaigh.
This choir was conducted by Brian O Dubhghaill until 2013. Cantairi Óga continues to rehearse in the school hall.
St Louis Primary School continues to nurture this tradition of music. The school have a Junior and Senior choir and an award winning orchestra.
